Herbed Yogurt Cheese

You can prepare this herb yogurt cheese recipe in just a few minutes. It is very easy to do and it will take you little time.

This recipe make up to 2 cups.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups yogurt cheese made from nonfat yogurt
  • 2 scallions, trimmed and minced
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley plus leaves for garnish
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil or 1/2 tsp. dried
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

In a medium-sized bowl, blend together yogurt cheese, scallions, parsley, basil, garlic, salt and pepper with a wooden spoon. (The cheese may be prepared ahead and stored, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 2 days).

To serve, spread the cheese on crostini and garnish with parsley leaves.
